Shocking is an understatement
Sheer panic and anxiety had officially ensued with the slew of questions left unanswered...Who was blown up? Who escaped? Who was shot? Who was killed off the show?
Whatever happened, it was something big and tragic, made clear by witness of Kessler's received call...and consequent silent-mimed-token-bad-news-reaction shot. This resulted in him transmitting said news to Gray, Carver and others who immediately broke down in hysterics...and fade to black.
This ending has left viewers with many questions, and much elapsed time until the next season is hashed out for CBC's fall '09 lineup. I happen to have a little insider scoop, but can only hint, because although it's just one detail, it's a HUGE spoiler. And the reaction will be SHOCK, SHOCKING and more SHOCK, followed by gut wrenching sadness, and did I mention SHOCK? For lack of a better word, the season finale's outcome will speak for itself, and shock is truly an understatement.
